La severa cancellata centrale munita di lucchetto impedisce ogni possibilità d’ingresso, ma basta percorrere una quindicina di metri sul lato opposto al fiume e si entra tranquillamente, dato che l’unica recinzione esistente è data da qualche sparuto albero e da siepi spontanee, che lasciano ampi varchi qua e là. Confesso che le centrali elettriche, fra tutti i luoghi dell’abbandono, sono tra quelle che preferisco, per il ripetersi degli enormi macchinari, pale, ventole, complicati pannelli di controllo. Questa piccola centrale, anche per una radicale rimozione dei più importanti macchinari effettuata al suo interno, non è più in grado di fornire certe visioni, ma la visita non è stata infruttuosa, specialmente quella al piano seminterrato. La giornata fredda e piovosa ha aiutato a creare le atmosfere giuste per il luogo e sono uscito soddisfatto. Un sopralluogo, oltretutto, relativamente semplice; basta fare un minimo di attenzione quando si scende sotto il piano terra e il gioco è fatto.
